Bob is the owner of Ravenworks Joinery.  He designs and creates eco-friendly custom cabinetry and fine furniture, as well as kitchen and bath remodels.  While Bob is an advocate for creating sustainable and energy efficient homes, he is also focused on building healthy indoor environments.  As both a member of the Group Health Cooperative Board of Trustees and a Master Home Environmentalist (MHE) volunteer for American Lung Association of Washington, he is concerned that the 90% of our lives that we spend indoors is harming us and our children.  Bob is also an advocate for environmental justice, and he works to ensure that environmental health is equitable.

Prior to his current business, Bob spent over 30 years in software and ran multiple technology companies.  As the founder and CEO of The Cordada Group, Bob served for many years on the Board of the Washington Software Association (WSA) . He was also deeply involved in education serving two terms as a Trustee of Bellevue Community College and participating in many other efforts including the Western Washington University Computer Science Dept’s Advisory Board, the Washington Trustees Association of Community and Technical Colleges’ Board of Directors, the Gates Foundation's Smart Tools Academy Steering Committee, the Regional Advanced Technology Educational Consortium (RATEC) Founding Board of Directors, the Steering Committee for the Washington Education Leadership Academy, and the Issaquah  School District Instructional Technology Review Committee and Technology Planning Committee.

Bob arrived in Seattle in 1978 as a climbing bum.  Thirty years later he still climbs, has served on the Access Fund Board (the national climber advocacy organization), but now spends much more time in training to be a steelhead fly fishing bum.  He is also an active member of the NW EcoBuilding Guild.
