Allison Burson, Program Coordinator of the Seattle Great City Initiative, has experience as a community organizer and environmental advocate.

Experience:

Allison came to the Seattle Great City Initiative after graduating from Wesleyan University.  Her experiences include environmental organizing at Wesleyan, working at Maine Coast Heritage Trust, where she conducted outreach to over fifty land trusts around the state, and  working at Wolfe's Neck Farm.  Allison has a particular interest in biking (she rode across the country this summer) and in the local food movement (she wrote her senior thesis on local food policy).

Allison is taking a lead role on the Neighborhood Assistance Program as well as supporting all the other work of the Seattle Great City Initiative
