Hard times even for book worms?

In these hard times people are turning to our neighborhood libraries for necessities and personal budget relief. Library use is rapidly increasing. Online access is up across the board, but so are actual visits as people pack computers and ask librarians how to find critical resources. See Friends of the Library blog for more information. Please consider emailing councilmembers asking them to protect library funding as they deliberate on City budget reductions.
